Visualising the World

Portfolios

  • A presentation slide titled 'The Art of Visualising Time' showing images of different times of day, including a sunset, city skyline at night, and a water splash

    Visualising Time

It all begins with the question what happens when you speed up a timelapse to the point it takes up no time - you get a picture.

  • A sunset landscape with a traditional Japanese castle, mountains in the background, and a colorful rainbow pattern overlay.

    Timescapes

Scapes which visualise a longer period of time such as a whole sunset, the rising of a moon, or even as long as the changing seasons over the year.

  • A close-up of a red wildflower growing in green grass with a mountain and blue sky in the background.

    Orchids and Flowers

It all began when we had to make a physical herbarium - I was fascinated by orchids. But native orchids are protected - so instead of collecting plants I started collecting pictures of native orchids in nature.

  • A stack of interlocking wooden blocks of various types and finishes.

    Mechanical Puzzles

I was always fascinated by mechanical puzzles and started designing and making my own puzzles.
