The images were taken from the Lengacher in the Kiental Valley in the Bernese Alps. The plan was to have the path of the full moon from it’s rising in the cleft of the “Gspaltehore” mountain as it goes over the Blümlisalp mountain massiv in the centre of the image. Unfortunately clouds were so heavy that even the rising itself was mostly blocked by clouds.

Composition method:
1024 pixel wide, 15 degree slanted blends were used to go from day upper left to night lower right.

EXIF: Canon EOS R5, lens RF 24-105mm f4 L IS USM @ 29mm, f8, iso 100, s 1/160 to 30s (Aperture priority mode)
