The Skytree in Tokyo as the world’s largest tower fascinated me so I looked for a good composition to do a timescape.

Matsumoto Castle, also known as the “Crow Castle” due to its black exterior, is one of 12 castles that still have their original main keep.

Around 40 photographers had come to photograph the rising of the full moon behind Himeji Castle.

This trial run for the actual full mon on the next day led to this beutifully pastel coloured timescape.
