Composition method:
The images were stacked (in affinity) by time of day with the lighten and average method and merge as needed.

The resulting images were stacked and blended with a 1024 pixel gradient at a 15° angle in affinity.

Additionally trains from two daytime images were cut out and stacked to have clear trains during the day (lower left of image). See below for construction details.
