Images used:
17 images were used, however in this crop only 11 can be seen.

Composition method:
400 pixel wide strips were used and moon shots were selected carefully so each moon is roughly in the middle of the strip. The shots are 7 minutes and 30 seconds apart with decreasing intervals of 6s per strip. The strips were not blended as hard cuts in my opinion looked better.

These images were taken as a trial run a day before the actual full moon. Since the moon rose an hour earlier at the beginning of golden hour, the moon wasn’t visible as it was too faint behind the castle. That day we had a very colourful sunset leading to this beautiful pastel colours. The next day we did see the full moon behind the castle but the colours were nowhere near as fantastic.

I also rather severely cropped the image as many houses from the city were. taking away focus from the main subject, but I could not crop out all of them so a few are left in the lower left corner.
