As climbers start their ascent to the Matterhorn around 04:00 from the Hörnlihut, you can see their headlamps going up the mountain.

Images used:
For the timescape 603 images were used (602 images from nighttime to blue hour plus one golden hour image for the sun lighting up the top of the Matterhorn).

The timelapse used all images.

Composition method:
The nighttime, astronomical and nautical twilights and the blue hour were stacked with the lighten method to bring out the trails of the headlamps of the climbers. For the golden hour the picture shortly after sunrise was selected to show the light shining on the peak of the Matterhorn. Daytime pictures were not used for the timescape but were used for the timelapse.

A sliced and a blended version were created.
